Crossing the Chasm: Engineering Leadership Journey from IC to CTO

We teach you and your employees the essential skills to make rapid and successful transitions between various leadership roles. Each class is six-to-eight hours of synchronous instruction followed by homework and 1:1 check-ins over the next eight weeks.

Through interviews, document examination, and code reviews, we inventory and summarize the state of your technical organization.

basic assessment (1 day)

A two- to five-page report covering the strengths and opportunities of your technical organization and product. Requires a 30-minute interview with your most senior engineering leader followed by high-level, hands-on review of architecture and code.

Full Assessment (1 week)

A 15- to 25-page report assessing the in-depth workings of your technical organization and product, ideal for funding-related due diligence requirements or internal audits. Requires a minimum of four hours of interviews with key engineering and product leaders and ICs followed by detailed hands-on review of architecture, infrastructure, and code.
